This Vestry having adjourned to Mr James Berry’s at the Sign of the White Hart Inn, it was Resolved unanimously to ?relet? for one year the Close called Home Close containing about Two Acres be the Same more or less, the aforesaid Home Close to be let until the 5 day of April 1830 after which time the Same shall be given up, to hold the Same under the following Regulations. ?[–] to be [–] more than once during the Term the Hay & Herbage to be [Sp–] [the–]. The Same shall ?also be subject to the Poor Rate of this Parish at four pounds ?thirteen shillings for every Shilling Rate the Sum of four Shillings for every Such ?Levy? — — the Rent to be paid half yearly – the same having been fairly put up to the best bidder it was adjudged Mr ?James Arldridge at the Sum of Six pounds Seventeen shillings & sixpence during the Term above mentioned —- At the Same Vestry it was also resolved unanimously to ?Relet the Piece of Pasture Land called Sweet Plot until the 5th day of April 1830 containing about eight acres be the Same more or less to hold the Same as aforesaid as follows – [–] to mow the Same but once during the term, the Same shall also be qualified or assessed to the Poor Rates of the Parish at Ten pounds thereby yielding to each Shilling Rate the Sum of Ten Shillings for every Such Rate, to have the full free use and possession of all and Singular the Stable or Hovel Standing thereon during the [–] Term to hold as aforesaid, the Person So occupying also to pay all other Parochial Rates during the above term at the above rate of Ten pounds quarterly for all and every rate that may be collected during the above term – the same having be fairly put up to the best bidder it was fairly adjudged to ?Mr ?James Arledge at the Rent of fourteen pounds Seventeen shillings & six pence to hold the Same as aforesaid, & the Hay Herbage to be [Sp–] on the Premises |
