At a Vestry held on the 3rd day of November 1853 for the purpose of appointing a Collector of the Parish Rates in the place of George Everett who has resigned      Present Rev’d GV Reed  Chairman

It was agreed to appoint Mr ?Packer to collect the Poor & Highway Rates to Lady day at a Salary of two pounds ten shillings and for him to account for them to the Overseers & Surveyors, and to appoint Mr Richard Butcher Collector of the [unreadable] & Property Taxes GV Reed  Chairman At a Vestry held on the 10th day of March 1854 according to Notice for the purpose of Nominating Persons to serve as Constables for ensuing year Present Rev’d GV Reed   Chairman Mr Dagley  Overseer,  Mr Painter  Guardian & Mr Rich’d Butcher James Side, Rich’d Packer, John Miller W’m Stockley, Edmund Worvill, Wm Tappin were nominated to serve the above office.
